August listens/reads
First off, I actually read a book this month—yup, sure did! And in the process, I stumbled onto a new favorite author, Jane Corry. Out of the eight books I read, three were hers, and they all earned a five-star rating from me.
The suspense had me hooked—the twists, the back-and-forth between characters, and the constant guessing kept me on my toes. These books had it all for me, and I can’t wait to read (or listen to) more from her.
I switched things up a bit by adding a real life tragedy followed by some much needed humor.
